Repeat Prescriptions and On-Line ordering

Prescriptions and sick lines can be obtained by ringing the practice on 028 9441 3940, or by request at reception. There is a dedicated voicemail system for ordering repeat medications. Please ring 02894 413940 option 2 and follow the instructions.

It takes 48 hours to process repeat scripts and to have them collected by your designated chemist, therefore it is vital that you order your medicines on time and ensure that you don’t run out.

Scripts for acute illnesses (i.e. needed the same day), should be ordered from reception before 11:00. If ordered after 11:00, the script may be collected at the surgery after 17:30 that day or after 12:00 at the designated pharmacy the next day.

Please allow 48 hours (excluding weekends & bank holidays) for your prescriptions to be ready.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, practice nurse or pharmacist annually to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
